MSH- MeitY Start-up Hub , an independent business within the Digital India Corporation, has a mission to build a conducive innovation and start-up ecosystem by bringing together various technology innovation

stakeholders, and paving the way towards a strong economy, built on the twin engines of innovation and technological advancement. It also acts as a hub to ensure synergies among all the incubation centres, Centres of Excellence on Emerging Technologies and other existing platforms.

A competition is being organized MyGov to design a logo for MSH that will depict the true potential as well as the objective of MSH i.e. strengthening the start-up ecosystem in the country.

Prize:
Winning logo (Winner) will be awarded a sum of INR 25,000.

Last date of submitting entries is 16 March 2022

 

Terms and Conditions
General
● The participants agree to indemnify and hold the Organizers and their officers,
directors, employees, agents and assigns harmless against any claims, losses,
damages, liabilities and expenses (including attorneys’ and other professionals’
fees) incurred on account of any inaccuracy or breach; willful acts/ omissions/
misrepresentations or non-compliance to the provisions of the applicable laws
on the part of the such participants.
● Under no circumstances will the Organizers be liable for any direct, incidental,
indirect, special, or consequential damages in connection with, arising out of or
relating in any way to the competition and/or these terms and conditions.
● These terms and conditions in respect of the competition are governed by the
laws of India and the Courts of Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to
entertain any dispute that arises out of the same. If for any reason any provision
of these terms and conditions are adjudicated to be unenforceable, the remainder
part thereof shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible.
● The Organizers reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or
suspend the competition in whole or in part, without assigning any reason or
incurring any liability to the participants.
● The participants represent and warrant that they have understood these terms
and conditions associated with the competition, and abide by the same without
any force/ undue influence agreeing to enter into the same.
Content of Logo(s)
● The participants who are Indian citizens are eligible to enter into the
competition.
● The logo(s) designed for representing awareness about MSH shall be in
accordance to the Technical Parameters and other requirements listed out in
these terms and conditions.

Only those logo(s) received on MyGov portal (and not through any other mode/
medium) would be considered for evaluation.
● The logo(s) must include a brief description (maximum 100 words) of the logo
along with the image (i.e., Explanation of the logo, symbol, colour etc.).
● All rights, title, and interests, including without limitation, intellectual property
rights in the logo(s) being submitted must be owned solely by the participants.
● The logo(s) should not have been previously published in any print and digital
media.
● The logo(s) submitted by the participants should not infringe / violate the rights
of any third party failing which, the Organizers reserve the right to disqualify
such entries, in its sole discretion.
● The logo(s) shall not comprise of any illegal, objectionable, or inappropriate
content.
● It is clarified that no registration/ submission fees is payable with the respect to
the logo(s)submitted for the competition.
Technical Parameters
● The participant should submit a high-resolution (600 dpi) image of the logo
(with slogan) in JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF formats only.
● The logo(s) should be distinctive and scalable. It should be usable in large
hoardings, posters, creatives, and any kind of print material and be appropriate
for any kind of web device.
● The winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the
designed logo.
● The logo(s) can be in multicolor but should be convertible to monochrome too.
● The logo(s) should look clean (not pixelated or bit-mapped) when viewed on
screen at 100%.
● The logo(s) should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
● The logo(s) design should not be imprinted or watermarked.

Evaluation Criteria
The entries will be judged based on
 elements of creativity
 originality
 technical excellence
 simplicity
 artistic merit
 visual impact
 how well the theme is communicated.
Rights in the Logo(s)
● The participants agree to grant an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free license in
respect of all the rights, title and interests, including but not limited to,
intellectual property in the logo(s) in favour of the Organizers.
● The Organizers shall have all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify
such the logo(s), including, without limitation to, selected portions thereof, in
any way, in any and all media, without limitation, worldwide and in perpetuity,
for use, including but not limited to, advertising, promotion, review, or any other
purpose whatsoever.
● The participants undertake not file applications or claim rights, title or ownership
in the logo(s) submitted and shall provide all assistance to the Organizers to
obtain registration of Intellectual Property in respect of the same, in the name of
the Organizers, as may be required in any jurisdiction.
Prizes / Awards
● Based on the evaluation of the logo(s) submitted, the Organizers may declare the
winning logo (Winners) and the participants thereto may be awarded a sum of
INR 25,000.
● The Winner may be entitled to receive only the aforesaid prizes/awards,
provided they abide by the terms and conditions associated with the
competition. The Winner shall not be entitled to any other cash or any other
compensations/ awards other than the prizes/awards referred hereunder.
